Built for far more
Rules require the airframe to carry at least 2.5 times its normal load without damage, and half as much again before anything breaks. Everyday bumps use a small part of that.
Take it apart. Walk three lounges. Fly Astana to New York without a stop. Three engines, fly-by-wire, now at a pre-owned price.
The Dassault Falcon 7X is a long-range business jet with three engines and the first fly-by-wire flight controls in business aviation. It flies 5,950 nm nonstop with 8 passengers at Mach 0.80, up to Mach 0.90 and 51,000 ft, in a cabin 11.91 m long, 2.34 m wide and 1.88 m high, usually laid out as three lounges. About 300 were built from 2007 to 2023; the longer Falcon 8X carries on. Every Falcon 7X for sale today is pre-owned, and many change hands privately through brokers such as ICCJET.
Dassault launched it at the 2001 Paris Air Show as the FNX, a long-range Falcon built from a clean sheet, and named it 7X that November. It was designed entirely on a virtual platform, flew on 5 May 2005 and was certified by EASA and the FAA on the same day, 27 April 2007. It brought fighter know-how to business aviation: sidesticks and digital fly-by-wire, with a new, highly swept wing and three engines.
A mature fleet of about 300 is good news for a buyer. There is choice, the type is well known to operators and maintenance shops, and values are set by year, hours, engine programme and inspection status. The best aircraft often change hands privately, before a listing appears. ICCJET sources the Falcon 7X for private owners, corporations and charter operators, in the layout and year range the mission needs.

Heights are without shoes; add about 3 cm for them. Seated head height is estimated from typical body proportions. Cabin heights for other jets are published manufacturer figures.
We plan with 15% held back: the solid gold ring is factory range less 15%, about 5,058 nm with 8 passengers, and the dashed ring is the brochure figure. The lit land is everywhere you can plan nonstop. The tour flies Astana, Beijing, Hong Kong, Istanbul, New York and more; tap any city, route or point to take over.
Factory range: 5,950 nm at Mach 0.80 with 8 passengers, 3 crew and NBAA IFR reserves (Dassault). The map plans on 85% of that, 5,058 nm, and on an estimated 2,150 lb of fuel an hour from 31,940 lb of maximum fuel. Real flights depend on winds, weather, payload, routing and airport limits. Check any route in the ICCJET Aircraft Route Planner or compare range and payload across 188 aircraft.
A bit of turbulence is normal, like a car on a gravel road. The Falcon 7X, its fly-by-wire computers and its two pilots carry a whole toolkit for it. Switch the tools on and watch a glass of water on the cabin table calm down.

One flies, the other watches the weather and talks to air traffic control, asking for smoother levels and routes.
Keep your belt loosely fastened whenever you sit. Most people seriously hurt by turbulence were not wearing one.

16,000 years
In 2025, airlines flew 38.7 million flights with 51 accidents, 8 of them fatal. Even in that difficult year, you would have to fly every day for about 16,000 years, on average, before being killed in an accident.
Airline statistics from IATA, not business jets. Fatality risk 0.17 per million flights; the years are our arithmetic from that rate.
At the 2025 airline rate. Business aviation counts accidents differently and has no matching public figure, so treat this as a sense of scale.

3 crew on board, no passengers, nobody hurt
Descending on autopilot at 300 kt through 13,000 ft, the horizontal stabilizer ran to its full nose-up stop in about 15 seconds. The aircraft pitched up to about 41°, pulled 4.6 g and climbed to 22,500 ft as the speed fell to 125 kt. The crew regained control and landed; no damage was found.
France's BEA found a soldering defect on one pin in the stabilizer's electronic control unit, made by Rockwell Collins, sending false nose-up commands while telling the monitor the opposite, so the system did not catch it. The unit's failure analysis had not foreseen this.
EASA grounded the whole fleet two days later. Then a modified control unit, a new failure analysis, and recommendations on independent control and monitoring channels and on taking over from the other pilot's sidestick.
Only events backed by an official investigation or an airworthiness directive are shown, from the reports linked in each card; other minor events listed by aviation databases are left out where we found no official report. We do not rank aircraft types or call any jet the safest: fleets differ in size, age and use, and such comparisons mislead. Airline background: IATA 2025 safety report.
Same cross-section, flight deck and fly-by-wire. The 8X is 1.27 m longer, with more thrust and about 500 nm more range. The 7X costs less to buy and flies most of the same missions.

Yes. ICCJET arranges Falcon 7X charter worldwide through licensed operators: one way, round trip or multi-leg, usually for 12 to 14 passengers in a three-lounge cabin, nonstop on routes such as London to Los Angeles or Istanbul to Singapore. The price depends on the route, dates, positioning and operator, so every quote is made for the trip. Chartering is also a good way to try the 7X before you buy one.
No. It entered service in June 2007 and production ended in 2023 after about 300 aircraft; the longer Falcon 8X continues on the same type certificate. Every Falcon 7X on the market is pre-owned.
Yes. The cabin is 1.88 m (6 ft 2 in) high and 2.34 m (7 ft 8 in) wide, so most adults stand straight in the aisle. It is 11.91 m (39 ft 1 in) long, without the flight deck and baggage hold.
Dassault quotes 8 to 19 passengers, depending on the layout; the type certificate allows up to 19. The two three-lounge layouts on this page seat 17 and 16, and both sleep 5.
It is Dassault's trijet layout, shared with the Falcon 50 and 900: lose one of the three Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307A engines, 6,402 lbf each, and two thirds of the thrust is still there. The centre engine sits in the tail and breathes through an S-shaped duct from the intake on top of the fuselage.
The 7X was the first business jet with fly-by-wire flight controls and sidesticks. Flight computers move the control surfaces, smooth the response and protect the flight envelope: the load factor stays between 2.5 g and −1 g with the flaps up.
No jet is bump-free, but the crew has a toolkit: forecasts, weather radar and reports from aircraft ahead to see rough air coming, steering 20 miles clear of storms, climbing as high as 51,000 ft, slowing to a rough-air speed, and the fly-by-wire flight computers with the autopilot to steady the ride. The calmest seats are in the middle lounge, over the wing. Keep your belt loosely fastened whenever you sit.
5,950 nm (11,020 km) at Mach 0.80 with 8 passengers, 3 crew and NBAA IFR reserves. We plan with 15% held back, about 5,058 nm: enough for Astana to New York (about 5,010 nm), London to Los Angeles or Istanbul to Singapore nonstop.
Maximum operating speed Mach 0.90, long-range cruise Mach 0.80, about 459 kn, ceiling 51,000 ft.
Takeoff distance is 1,740 m (5,710 ft) at maximum weight, sea level, ISA; landing distance is 630 m (2,070 ft) at a typical landing weight, with an approach speed of 104 kn. It even operates from London City.
Yes. The 140 cu ft (4 m³) baggage hold sits behind the aft lavatory and is reachable in flight; it also has an external door.
Same cross-section, flight deck and fly-by-wire. The 8X is 1.27 m longer outside with a 13.0 m cabin, has PW307D engines of 6,722 lbf and about 500 nm more range (6,450 nm). The 7X costs less to buy and does most of the same missions.
Its 5,950 nm factory range at Mach 0.80, about 459 kn, works out to roughly 13 hours nonstop, before reserves.
An aircraft sold privately, without a public listing. Many good Falcon 7Xs change hands this way. ICCJET reaches them through more than 30,000 industry contacts and shares details on request.
It is a mature type with about 300 aircraft and nearly 20 years of service, and no fatal accident in official reports. The one serious in-flight event, a stabilizer trim runaway in 2011 with nobody hurt, grounded the fleet from 26 May 2011; modified aircraft flew again from 16 June, and EASA cleared the whole fleet on 7 July. Before you buy, check that modification and other airworthiness directives, the damage history and crew training.
We work both markets at once. The online market is what everyone sees. The offline market is where many of the best aircraft change hands, before a listing ever appears.
