Ultra-long-range business jet

Gulfstream G700 for Sale

The Gulfstream G700 is not the longest-range Gulfstream: that is its shorter sibling, the G800. Buyers still pay more for the G700, and the reason is inside. Its cabin is 17.35 m long, 2.49 m wide and 1.91 m high, with up to five living areas and 20 oversized windows. You do not buy a G700 to get there. You buy it to arrive rested.

It entered service in April 2024, flies 7,750 nm at Mach 0.85 and reaches Mach 0.935. ICCJET sources pre-owned G700s and resold factory delivery positions for private owners, family offices and corporate flight departments.

The G700 in 30 seconds.

  • Ultra-long-range business jet by Gulfstream Aerospace, in service since April 2024 (FAA certified 29 March 2024).
  • Range 7,750 nm (14,353 km) at Mach 0.85; maximum speed Mach 0.935; ceiling 51,000 ft.
  • Cabin 17.35 m long, 2.49 m wide, 1.91 m high: up to five living areas, up to 19 passengers, adults stand upright.
  • Two Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines of 18,250 lbf; Symmetry flight deck with active sidesticks.
  • Factory list price about USD 79 million (2025); pre-owned aircraft are rare and often sold off market.

Current availability. The G700 entered service in April 2024 and few have reached the resale market, so a pre-owned G700 is one of the hardest jets in the world to find. ICCJET searches for it on and off market, including factory delivery positions resold by first buyers. Tell us your missions, budget and timing, and we will tell you honestly what exists. Confirmed requests, for example with proof of funds, are processed first.

The cabin

Can you stand up inside a G700?

Yes. The cabin is 1.91 m (6 ft 3 in) high, so a 1.85 m adult walks the aisle upright. The average American man is about 1.75 m. In a light jet such as the Phenom 300E, with a 1.50 m cabin, the same passenger bows his head from door to seat.

Cabin size 17.35 m long, 2.49 m wide, 1.91 m high; 73.7 m3 (2,603 cu ft)
Living areas Up to five: club seating, dining or conference, lounge and a private stateroom aft
Windows 20 panoramic windows, the size used on the G650
Cabin altitude 2,840 ft at 41,000 ft: your body feels a mountain village, not a ski summit
Galley Ultra-large, with a 10-foot counter, oven, microwave and refrigerator
Lavatories Forward lavatory and an aft en suite with windows; shower as an option
Lighting Circadian LED lighting that can simulate sunrise to sunset
Baggage 5.5 m3 (195 cu ft), up to 1,134 kg (2,500 lb), reachable in flight through the aft lavatory

Routes

10 routes the way an owner flies them

The G700 duel. Pick a rival, pick a route and race them. Gold is the G700. Watch who lands nonstop and who stops for fuel, then switch to Who gets where: the gold cities are the ones only the G700 reaches nonstop.

Distances are great-circle from the business aviation airport of each city; times use 488 kt plus 20 minutes, in still air. Nonstop means the distance is under 90% of the 7,750 nm range, a margin for winds. A fuel stop adds about an hour on the ground.

New York Teterboro to Hong Kong 6,989 nm (12,944 km). Nonstop, winds permitting. About 14 h 40 min. Within range, but strong headwinds or a full cabin can force a stop.
Los Angeles Van Nuys to Sydney 6,517 nm (12,069 km). Nonstop. About 13 h 40 min nonstop.
Dubai Al Maktoum to Los Angeles Van Nuys 7,240 nm (13,409 km). Nonstop, winds permitting. About 15 h 10 min. Within range, but strong headwinds or a full cabin can force a stop.
Los Angeles Van Nuys to Singapore Changi 7,602 nm (14,078 km). Nonstop, winds permitting. About 15 h 55 min. Within range, but strong headwinds or a full cabin can force a stop.
Singapore Changi to London Luton 5,867 nm (10,866 km). Nonstop. About 12 h 20 min nonstop.
Riyadh to New York Teterboro 5,661 nm (10,484 km). Nonstop. About 11 h 55 min nonstop.
New York Teterboro to Singapore Changi 8,270 nm (15,317 km). One fuel stop. Stop at Anchorage: 2,916 + 5,790 nm, about 19 h 30 min door to door.
London Luton to Sydney 9,175 nm (16,993 km). One fuel stop. Stop at Singapore Changi: 5,867 + 3,399 nm, about 20 h 40 min door to door.

Calculated, not flight-planned. Real times and fuel depend on winds, season, payload, routing and reserves.

Ride quality

Turbulence: how the G700 rides

No aircraft is turbulence-proof, but two numbers predict how much you feel it. Wing loading: the G700 carries about 410 kg on every square metre of wing (84 lb/sq ft) at maximum weight, high for a business jet, so chop feels like a ripple, not a punch. Altitude: certified to 51,000 ft, it can climb above most weather and above the busy airline levels.

Weather radar Honeywell RDR-4000 with predictive hazard warnings, to see storms and wind shear early
Flight controls Fly-by-wire with active sidesticks
Cabin altitude 2,840 ft at 41,000 ft: less fatigue after a long, bumpy day

Equipment and main systems

What is under the skin

Engines 2 x Rolls-Royce Pearl 700, 18,250 lbf each: 8% more thrust and 5% more efficient than the BR725 on the G650. Also on the G800
Flight deck Gulfstream Symmetry, based on Honeywell Primus Epic, with 10 touchscreens; shared with the G500, G600 and G800 on one pilot type rating
Flight controls Fly-by-wire with active-control sidesticks by BAE Systems: the two sticks move together, like a mechanical link
Vision Dual head-up displays, enhanced and synthetic vision approved to land in low visibility
Landing safety Predictive Landing Performance System warns of a runway overrun risk before touchdown
Wing The G650 wing, 119.2 m2 (1,283 sq ft), 33 degrees of sweep, larger winglets
Weights Max takeoff 48,807 kg (107,600 lb); max fuel 22,634 kg (49,900 lb)

In the press

Who flies a G700

The G700 has become the jet that headlines follow. These are press reports, not confirmed purchases, and ICCJET never discusses its own clients.

Jeff Bezos Business Insider reported in 2024, from public flight-tracking data, that a new G700 joined his fleet next to two G650s and a Pilatus PC-24, and flew 28 times in its first 39 days
Oprah Winfrey Widely reported in 2025 to have moved from a G650ER to a G700, keeping her personal tail number
Elon Musk Reported by Business Insider to have ordered a G700
Governments and fleets The US Coast Guard operates a G700; a Gulf-based charter operator runs the largest fleet, at least 15 aircraft by late 2025

What the list tells a buyer: the G700 is bought by people whose time costs more than the jet. That keeps demand, and resale values, firm.

Incidents

Safety record and history

Accidents No G700 accident or hull loss recorded in public databases as of October 2026
Certification FAA type certificate on 29 March 2024, after more than two years of delays, largely from stricter rules introduced after the Boeing 737 MAX crisis
Family history In April 2011 a G650 test aircraft crashed at Roswell, New Mexico, during a takeoff test, killing four crew. Investigators found the takeoff speeds used were too low and Gulfstream raised them. The G700 uses the same wing
Fleet About 135 built by October 2026; more than 80 city-pair speed records claimed by May 2025

The provocative view: the two-year delay was the best thing that happened to the G700. Few business jets have been checked so hard before entering service.

FAQ

Gulfstream G700 for sale: questions

How much does a Gulfstream G700 cost?

The factory list price was about USD 79 million in 2025, and late-2025 delivery positions were quoted at USD 88 to 89 million. A pre-owned price depends on year, hours, cabin and warranty. ICCJET gives a current indication on request.

What is the range of the G700?

7,750 nm (14,353 km) at Mach 0.85, or 6,650 nm at Mach 0.90.

Can you stand up in a G700?

Yes. The cabin is 1.91 m (6 ft 3 in) high, so most adults walk upright.

Can a G700 fly New York to Hong Kong nonstop?

On paper yes: about 6,990 nm against 7,750 nm of range. With strong winter headwinds or a full cabin, the crew may plan a stop.

What is the difference between the G700 and the G800?

The G700 is 10 ft longer with up to five living areas and 7,750 nm of range. The G800 has the shorter G650-size cabin and flies 8,200 nm. Both use Pearl 700 engines and the Symmetry flight deck.

How many passengers does a G700 carry?

Up to 19 passengers, depending on the layout. With five living areas, most owners choose fewer seats and a private stateroom aft.

Who owns a Gulfstream G700?

Press reports link the G700 to Jeff Bezos and Oprah Winfrey, and Elon Musk was reported to have ordered one. The US Coast Guard operates one, and a Gulf-based charter operator runs the largest fleet. ICCJET never discusses its own clients.

Has a G700 ever crashed?

No G700 accident is recorded in public databases as of October 2026.

Can ICCJET find a G700 that is not advertised?

We look for one. With a fleet this young, most G700s that change hands do so privately or as resold delivery positions, before any listing appears. ICCJET reaches that market through more than 30,000 industry contacts. Confirmed requests are processed first.
