Super-midsize business jet
Gulfstream G200 for Sale
A stand-up Gulfstream cabin, often for less than a new light jet. The catch is in the logbooks.
One of the cheapest ways into a stand-up Gulfstream cabin. The G200 was designed and built in Israel by IAI and sold by Gulfstream. Its cabin is 1.90 m high, and pre-owned examples are often priced below a new light jet with far less headroom.
Production ended in 2011, so every G200 is pre-owned. It flies 3,400 nm, enough for London to Dubai or New York to Los Angeles. ICCJET sources G200s on and off market and checks the records before you see one.
The G200 in 30 seconds.
- Super-midsize business jet designed and built by Israel Aerospace Industries, sold as the Gulfstream G200.
- Range 3,400 nm (6,300 km); ceiling 45,000 ft.
- Cabin 7.44 m long, 2.18 m wide, 1.90 m high: adults stand upright.

- Production ended in 2011; replaced by the G280.
Current availability. For the Gulfstream G200, ICCJET has up to 5 on-market aircraft and at least 1 off-market aircraft. Routes
10 routes the way an owner flies them
The G200 duel. Pick a rival, pick a route and race them. Gold is the G200. Watch who lands nonstop and who stops for fuel, then switch to Who gets where: the gold cities are the ones only the G200 reaches nonstop.
Distances are great-circle from the business aviation airport of each city; times use 459 kt plus 20 minutes, in still air. Nonstop means the distance is under 90% of the 3,400 nm range, a margin for winds. A fuel stop adds about an hour on the ground.

Ride quality
Turbulence: how the G200 rides
No aircraft is turbulence-proof. A super-midsize jet rides more firmly than a heavy long-range jet, but the G200 climbs to 45,000 ft, above most weather and the busy airline levels. Its ceiling is 45,000 ft, above the busy airline levels.

In the press
Who flies a G200
The G200 is a jet that quietly does the job. ICCJET never discusses its own clients.
| Charter fleets |
Widely used in charter for its stand-up cabin and transcontinental range |
What this tells a buyer: a G200 delivers the Gulfstream cabin experience at an entry price. The catch is age, so the records matter more than the badge.
Incidents
Safety record and history
| Recent accident |
On 7 June 2026 a G200 crashed soon after take-off near La Romana, Dominican Republic; both pilots, the only people on board, died |
| Investigation |
Causes had not been published in the sources checked as of October 2026 |
The honest view: on a jet built up to 27 years ago, the airframe matters less than how it has been maintained. A pre-purchase inspection is not optional.

Buyer checklist
What to check before you buy a G200
- Engines. Two PW306As: hours, cycles, engine programme enrolment and the next overhaul.
- Inspections. Major calendar inspections due; on an older jet one inspection can change the deal value.
- Avionics. Upgrades fitted and the mandates for your region, for example ADS-B Out and datalink.
- Corrosion and structure. Records of structural inspections and any repairs.
- Records. Complete logbooks, airworthiness directives, service bulletins and damage history.
- Registration and transition. Plan the certificate of airworthiness and the change of registry early. Compare 21 aircraft registries.
- Finance. Structure the deal before the letter of intent. Aircraft financing with ICCJET.

The G280 is the G200 rebuilt: new wing, new engines, new avionics and more range. The G200 keeps a stand-up cabin at a fraction of the price. Choose the G280 for range and modern systems, the G200 for the lowest price per centimetre of headroom.
